PUBLIC INQUIRY ISSUES LETTER
1. The Planning Inspectorate for the National Assembly for Wales have indicated that a local inquiry is to be arranged to consider Castle Cement’s Planning Application for a new kiln at Padeswood Works.
2. The following issues have been identified for debate at the Public Inquiry:
a) the effect of the proposed development on public health
b) the effect of the proposed development on the landscape including visual impact
c) effect on employment
d) implications for the existing highways network
e) relevant national and local land policies
