Yesterday MBNA Bank confirmed that chairman, Bill Dagar, had also written personally to Flintshire's planning director, Richard Jarvis.

"As a key employer in the area, we are concerned not only about the health and safety of the people of MBNA, but that of other families and the community in general will be affected by this new development.

"It will also affect the willingness of other businesses to relocate to the Bsiness Park and may affect expansion plans that MBNA may have."
