Survey too late
SO Castle Cement have commissioned a company to do a survey of the people of the Ribble Valley to ascertain the public's opinion on the burning of waste known as Cemfuel.

Why now, after all these years? I wish we had been given the opportunity to voice our views before the company undertook the practice of using waste as a fuel.

I could save Castle Cement the money they are paying the Public Attitude Survey Company by giving them a copy of the petition carried out, 2,053 people signed it with the wording "We the undersigned want Castle Cement to stop burning toxic waste (Cemfuel) in the Ribble Valley."

No ambiguity there.
