I lived in Pen-y-Ffordd for 13 years and from day one Castle Cement caused
problems.  At night the amount of Cement dust that come out of those
chimneys was unbelievable.  When you saw the amount of dust that was on
your windows, car you would think what is it doing to yourself.  The thing
that made me laugh is if you complained then you would get the same old man
with the same old story.  (WHAT DUST???)  They would be good enough to give
you some ACID to clean your windows and car.  ACID!!!!!!!    What  on earth
are they going to give you when the kilm is built.  (A chemical suit???)
 I now live in Mold away from Castle Cement and the dust does not really
get there but if they build this new Kilm then it would get there without
no problems.  I am 25 years old and in the next few years my wife to be and
I would like to start a family but if the plans where to go through then we
would reconsider as we would not like a baby that is unhealthy due to
industry.
I believe that what it is going to look like should be the last thing on
people minds because what it will do is even worse.

Another Concern of mine is that I don't think that there is enough
publicity saying what the real effects are going to be.  I know that
Buckley and Pen-y-Ffordd are aware but what about Wrexham, Chester, Mold
and all the Villages in-between them as it will effect them all.  As you
know the wind will carry the dust, Chemical, smoke, what ever they would be
burning at the time over to these areas.  If these areas would be made more
aware then there would be even more people against the project.

If there are any changes that occur I would be most greatful if you inform
me so I can keep up to date.
