Fuel Analysis
From Data Provided by Castle Cement in it's Application
for IPC Authorisation d/d 17/5/99
Used by Dr Vyvyan Howard at the November 30th Public Meeting to demonstrate the increased levels of key chemicals and heavy metals present in Cemfuel, when compared with other fuels.
A direct comparison has been made in the 'B/A' column between the constituents of Cemfuel and of Coal
Dr Howard also highlighted the dangers associated with all halogens (marked purple), not just Chlorine.
The new plant will produce a fine aerosol of ultra fine particles (which are the most toxic) producing 'a significant burden on the local environment'.
Note:
We have added the columns marked in pink to aid interpretation of the
figures displayed.
